re - that phone no. - yes I phoned it & what a strange message it was - It
was (I believe) Lee talking in a strange voice with Drip Fed Fred playing in
the background & he was basically urging people to Vote for Fred &
explaining all about the campaign - you were also asked to leave your name &
address - I later received a VFF postcard through my door, but I don't know
if it was from this or from sending back the postcard at the bottom of the
VFF poster from the December gig. - Apparently this was one of the things
Madness were doing to finance the video for the single, so yes, in my
opinion, it was worth every penny of the 50p per minute !!
