Hi fellow nutsters!
I know that it is several days since the brilliant shindig in
Camden/Brixton, but today is the first day that I've been able to get to a
computer and I wanted to add my thoughts.
I have to say that my sis and I had a truly brilliant time- having only met
a couple of internet peeps at MSIV, it was great to be able to put names to
the faces. It would take me forever to write about all the excellent goings
on, so I thought that I'd sum them up below:

* Best Moment: (i)Meeting Monsieur Barso and Thommo in the pub- I was in awe
and then managed to snap out of it when Jerney introduced me to Lee, who was
well chuffed when we told him that we'd bid 30 for the Nutty Boys stuff and
had split it between us.
(ii) Carl's rocking version of 'What a waste'. Pure brilliance.
(iii) The pride in Simesy's voice when he announced how much we had raised.
* Worst moment: (i)The film in my camera running out after Madness had gone
off stage
(ii) My jumper being lobbed on stage (I still don't have it back, but in one
of my piccies Carl is standing by it!)
* List member sponsored by Duracel: Vince Carden (those at the ska disco
will know exactly why!)
* Best Game: How many people can fit in a taxi?
* Best Laugh: The afore mentioned incident in the taxi. I shan't forget
Vince Foley moaning that he would never walk again and would be hunched up
for life! Ha ha.
* Best Look-a-likey : Mr Foley- a definately convincing Suggsy!
* Most annoying person: The night bus driver that wouldn't move from
Tottenham Court Rd. because someone hadn't paid the fare, and still wouldn't
move even after Graham Hewson offered to pay for everyone.
* Event that could only feature in Ripley's 'Believe it or not': My photo of
Mike Barson, actually smiling!! Is this possible?!?
* List Member that was as Sick as a parott: Graham Hewson- he was so chuffed
to have ticket number one for the Crunch gig, so imagine his despair when he
found after the gig that he'd sweated so much and got covered in booze, that
his ticket had ripped?!
* Best example of engaging mouth before brain: My sister Sarah, who told
Scatty that she'd pay for him to go to the Crunch gig, as he had
'inssufficient funds in his account'. D'Oh!!

Anyway, that was a small selection of events that happened over the weekend.
The auction was a good laugh ('Save it for the suit!') and basically I would
like to say thanks to everyone for making it such a laugh and helping to
raise money for a good cause- Uncle Ian would be proud!
Hope to see some of you at the Crunch gig on the 14th July!
Nutty Respect
Nutty Bex

P.S to those that I promised copies of my photos, I'm still sorting them out
so please bare with me. Cheers.
