Hi there, I'm new here, I kind of made a late entry to the Ian Dury madmeet,
witnessing the auction and chatting to various bods. Oh and I also appeared
to have stirred up one of Vinces by refusing to sell him my Grey Day 12". I
knew it was rare as it's never listed in any discography......but I didn't
know it had gained a sort of mythical status!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has anyone else got this rare 12".....and where did you pick it up? I saw
mine in my, now sadly deceased, local record shop. Unfortunately I was too
late to buy the single copy they had, but as luck would have it I discovered
I knew who'd bought it and a few years later I bought it off him for a
couple of quid!
What's your most treasured piece of British Madness stuff, be it music or
merchandise?
Steve
Confirmed Nutter, never left the cause.
