I'm back from vacation and catching up. If any of you are awaiting
address changes, etc. then just drop me a line.
Lots of mail to come back to.... I've been enjoying the reports of
TMML ID Day and the shows. Glad to hear that a good amount of money
was raised for CancerBACUP - well done to Simesy, Scatty and Adele
for the efforts made towards the auction!!! Those dreams Vince C. typed
up are creepin' me out. hehe The football messages are relevant, yes,
since they're a part of a planned upcoming Madmeet. Thanks Graham, for
offering to help organize this offlist. That will help to sort things out
and he can post the key info. for us onlist. Someone may also consider
setting up a webpage that everyone can refer to.
One of our TMMLers had a request that people change the RE: line in their
mails to whatever the message actually is about, so thought I'd pass that
along. (A lot of you may be deleting the threads and may miss out on
info, etc.)
Stopped by Manifest Records in Wilmington, NC and found that they had
copies of both 'Wonderful' and the 'Lovestruck' single. First time I've
seen one of the new Madness singles on sale in the US... right on. Also,
I picked up a mag called 'Uncut,' which had a nice Dury article & bit
about the Dury Day. Madness are also mentioned. I'll be putting it up on
my site soon in case any of you are interested.
Have any of you come across reviews of the Fleadh at all????
Had some notes from people that have visited my site - it seems Rick
Torres of the excellent band Supreme Beings of Leisure is a Madness fan
and wrote in to tell me how happy he was to have an SBL mention on the
site. Also, someone is looking for information about Chas Jankel, and
what he's up to nowadays. If anyone can assist (offlist) I'd appreciate
it, as I can't say I know much about him.
