Also about 8 years ago when I last had a working
turntable--don't know what's wrong with it, but it
just slides straight across any and every record and
I'm unwilling to ruin any vinyl that I'm holding onto.
I still cringe when I get to that bit in "Day on the
Town" where my vinyl always skipped ("Riots in
London...iots in London...iots in London....").
