1. An Irish band called "Mexican pets" did a rock version of "Embarrassment". 2. Yes, it's true, the son of the famous Liverpool / Irish comedian Tom O'Connor was part of the Madness management team about 1993 or so, but he's not Steve Finan. He's Francis O'Connor. 3. I think both versions of "Time" are pretty cool. A lot of people would regard the album version as over - produced. The demo that Carl sang has a lot more melancholy in it. I do wished they'd put a lot more demos on b - sides. They're far more interesting than remixes. 4. When Suggs' appearance at "Party In The Park" was announced one or two people expressed surprise that he'd lower himself to share the stage with such acts. I don't know why. This is the same man (as much as I love the guy!) who released "Cecelia" and "No More Cover Versions" and who would do anything "middle of the road" these days, it would seem. If Madness at Wembley Arena was live on Channel 5 or BBC1 on a saturday night, he'd be well on for it!! It's funny looking back at solo interviews with Suggs from 1995/96 where he is asked why he came back. He says that he had tried other stuff like tv but realised that music is what he is good at and that he should stick to what he's good at..........Hmmm! Message to Suggs: Get off the television. Get off the radio. Get on the stage. Vince Carden __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get Yahoo!
