Good afternoon fellow crunchstockers, rhythmstockers and total nutsters!
Well, we are now safely home and on a total downer after the cracking
weekend. It was a total pleasure to meet everyone again and say hello to
some new people. For me to write everything down, it would be a very long
and boring mail, so again I am going to condense it all down and put down
the things that, IMO, were the best aspects of Crunchstock!
Best Moments: (i) A certain M.W Bedford walking past me whilst crossing
Arlington Road. I had my Maddest Show on Earth T-shirt on and he was with
his missus, but he looked at my t-shirt, then at me and smiled. I was in
heaven!!
(ii) The gig itself- totally fantastic and my first Crunch! gig. We were
down the front and Lee made myself and Madame Barso sing most of the third
verse to �Birthday Girl�.
(iii) Meeting Chrissy Boy and the others after the gig- they were all really
cool and thanked us for coming
(iv) ending up at Blur�s aftershow party after seeing Cheryl�s friends band
and meeting Dave Rowntree (top bloke) and seeing Graham and Alex.
List member most pissed during the weekend: Mr. Scat
List member with the most dirty mind: Simesy (nominated by Madame and Sarah
Barso!)
Bad timing award: Has to go to my sis Sarah Barso for getting very ill
during Blur�s aftershow party. D�oh!!
Funniest Moment: Scat for just falling over and ending up sprawled outside
the Underworld in Camden, on the pavement. (his explanation: �Heavy
Gravity�!?!)
Florence Nightingale award: Caz Smash- you are a star girl!
Sayings of the weekend: �I like Bollocks�
�I knew it was him because it was the way he wore his trousers�
�It was heavy gravity!�
Best new talent: Freefall- if Cheryl invites you to go and see them- go!
They are totally cool.
No sign of rain but he still got wet: Vince Carden after the gig. You had to
be there really!
Well, there you have it. A top weekend and talk of many things. Hi to all
that attended and I hope the two Vinces made it home ok. Hope there�s more
Madmeets to come!!
