The last track on One Step Beyond (Chipmunks Are Go)
has a very strange story behind it...
Apparently in WW2 there were a make of aeroplanes
(little 2 seaters) called... wait 4 it..CHIPMUNKS!
Just before the flight was to take off the bloke in
charge would yell: "Chipmunks are go!" (hence the
military theme chanting....)
I'm not 100% sure of the story, so correct me if i'm
wrong...
Anyone else know bizzare song histories????
