Hi All,
I would just like to add my own comment to the rest on the Madness "Young
Guns Go For It" show last night on BBC 2. I have to be honest and say that
it was great. I loved the old concert footage as well as the old Invaders
stuff too. As for Dave Robinson claiming that he never pushed them I have to
think that he was talking crap considering the picture the band painted of
constant life on the road as well as in the book "Total Madness". Adrian
Thrills didn't seemed too interested in the band and that does not sound
good for the book "Don't Watch That - Watch This!" to be released in
November. Mind you I did enjoy finding out Woody's true feelings about The
Madness. And in a way he was right it was a cop-out. Very interesting
indeed. I do feel that they could have covered 1992-2000 better. These are
the years that interestt me, as I know about the early days, I want to know
more about the modern era of Madness. Finally, in answer to your question El
Thomo I did see Carl holding Woody's hand in the barber's (which I found
funny).
Mad Thanks,
Si
