Hiya everyone...
I don't know if it's me and my broken fingers (no, honestly) or my crappy
computer, but I have sent a couple of e-mails to the list and nobody has
replied. Are you ignoring me or am I just being paranoid?!!
Anyway, here are my questions about Rise and Fall which I requested answers
to from all you clever knowall maddies out there. Please help me and I won't
start smashing things up every time I listen to it through frustration.....
1.) "Mr Speaker gets the word"
Top tune, I'm sure you'll agree (except Mountain Boy who disagrees
with everything I say!!!) but what are they shouting in the
background and who is shouting what??
2.) "Calling Cards"
Once again, the cats knackers, but who is hollering what and what
are they on about? I recognise Lee's voice (I think) but I don't
know what he's on about.
Any pointers in the right direction would make me most chuffed.
Nothing to do with Madness but very exciting all the same...I have been
asked to be a backing singer for my mates band, MOOK, and they are
supporting Mark and Lard from Radio One at Huddersfield Town Hall on 27th
October. Should be a good laugh if the reports of the rider are anything to
go by..48 stella, 16 bottles of wine, 3 bottles of Brandy, Fluffy towels,
fluffy socks....Cool.
Anyway. If anyone can help this trainee pop star with the above questions,
she'd be very grateful and may send you an autograph!!!
