Well, it seems to me that Chris is right.
Any of Ocober to March inclusive is tooooo damn cold. April is
Easter, so that'll be hard to book. July and August is peak time, so it'll
be expensive. Late May to mid-June is exam time for people aged 15-22 in
education and there's an expensive Bank Holiday in there too. That leaves us
with mid-June or September.
Personally, mid-June would be my preferred date, but I could make
any time!

we are in bit of a pickle over the date for the madness injection
next year
on the one hand we have picked already the may bank holiday
which seem to be fine until it came to my attention
that it was slap bang in the middle of exams & a lot of people
said that they couldn't make this time
which lead me to think that maybe June would be better
but this is peek season & a lot more expensive
so the only option i have is to let you lot decide when is the best
time to hold it
i need to get this ball rolling as soon as poss (yesterday)
so let me & the list know what you prefer
mail the list with your thoughts
i will go with the majority remember it will take place over a weekend
so it shouldn't be much of a problem if you are doing exams
& may well be a great time to celebrate
i know that i won't be able to please everyone
but those of you who know me already know I'll always do what's best
for the many
