VERY much so, Mark :) I think it's by far the most comprehensive book I've
ever read about our lads (not that there've been THAT many ummm literature
about them, apart from this book and the Briefcase History which was good, I
thought!). I also got a letter back from Mr Marshall when I told him that I
was from Malta (I still lived there at the time I got the book) saying that
he had been to Popeye Village (the place where they filmed 'Popeye' in the
early 80s with Robin Williams as the
spinach-chomping sailor) with his wife and he told me to look out for some
message he carved on some wall hahahahaha Anyway, if you still don't have
this gem of a book, get it while you can... it's REAL good! And by the
way... wasn't George Marshall on this list a while back? I may be wrong ~
