In reply to Paul, I would just like to say that Caz and I are working on
such a site.
This was going to be kept a secret for as long as possible, but I'm saying
this now as we don't want anyone to do one and moan that we nicked the idea.
Basically, Caz and I were talking at Crunch! about Madmeets and how it would
be good to have a website for Madmeets so that maybe people that aren't on
the list could find out about meets and maybe a newspage just talking about
gigs involving Madness/Crunch! and Velvet Ghost. Then it evolved into a sort
of page for the unsung force behind the band...the fans!
So, we thought of something along the lines of:
A section for Madness fans (working title 'The Maddie Files)
A section for piccies of you with members of the band (w/t 'The Hall of
Fame')
A news page
A photo and stories page of previous Madmeets
A caption of the month competition (for fabulous prizes)
Idea for the website name: The Maddies

Just because we wanted to bounce ideas off each other.
Please go and take a look at the intro and see whether you like it...we just
wanted to do something different.
