.......... Anyhoo the band came
down and said their thanks to Thommo, they were so over the moon with him
being there! especially
as he went to the trouble to actually get
up and play along with them! not many people would do that... only special
people!!
At about quarter past
Twelve (am) we were kicked out of the venue as they were closing, but not
before i had the chance to let
Thommo know that it had been my 16th birthday
on the 14th of Nov, to which he replied, that he remembered being 16 and
what
a great age it was... i also got a short
rendition of 'House Of Fun' ... "16 today and up for fun!!" and what made
it better was that i
got a birthday kiss off of him!
Outside the venue we said
our good-byes to quite a few of Lee's friends (whose names now escape me,
sorry guys!!) but a
couple of us were left, everyone started
walking off in twos chatting away, and as luck would have it i happened
to be paired with
Thommo (!) we just started chatting, i was
so amazed at how easy he is to talk to, i mean i've spoken to him before
loads of
times.. but it seemed different this time..
i dunno it could've just been me.... we were just talking about everything
- me staying
on at school to do A levels.... Daily (sorry
if that's spelt wrong!) Thompson playing the drums... well just everything
really!
One main thing i can remember
asking Lee was why Crunch! never played 'Round Trip' live.... apparently
not everyone in the
band was too keen on playing it... but they
(fingers crossed) may start playing it now....... oh and he agreed that
the last Crunch!
gig was too short...
When we reached Swanny's
car we had to say good-bye, i said good-bye to Lee last.... (save best
till last... hehe) and well i
told him how great it was to see him again,
and that i can't wait for the next time, we kissed good-bye and i even
got a long hug
off of him! ..... i was soooo happy!!!! all
evening i had a smile on my face!
Then after that Swanny
very kindly gave me a life home in his car... Thank You sooo much mate!!!!
you're the best! also
THANK YOU sooo much for inviting me along
to the meet up.. you didn't have to.... but you did! i owe you big time
mate!!!

Wey hey... what a way to celebrate a birthday eh!?

Anyhoo i'm really sorry to bore you all so
much......
Well i'm now completely
and utterly knackered!!! i only got 3 hours sleep last night.... so i must
be off.........
