That would be a GREAT idea... if the deejays KNEW who Madness were! The
other day I was working at my coffeehouse in Maryville, TN (The Bard is the
name, by the way... my bro's-in-law named it (if it was up to me, I'd have
named it Our House or House Of Fun!)). Anyway, I had a couple of minutes
free and I called up the radio station (97.5) (they play a good mix of
80s/90s music, mostly American stuff though) and asked them if they could
play 'Our House' (I thought I'd play it safe since THAT was the only single
by our boys to ever get in the Top 10 here!) and the dumb deejay
(unfortunately, her name is Jenny hahahaha) goes 'Say what?' and I go 'Our
House? By Madness?' and she goes 'Who?' and I say to all of you... what does
one have to do to spread the word huh? ~ Tennessee Paul
