Hi fellas

This Saturday's Sun had an interesting article in it. Hidden
away in the depths of the 10 minute interview between Garry Bushell and
Simon Day, was a little gem from the latter. I quote: 'Simon left school at
15 with two CSEs to form a punk band called Simon and The Virgins, who
supported Squeeze and The Ruts. "We split after about ten gigs", Simon
recalls. "Musical differences. But one of the band went on to be in Madness
and our drummer was in The Cult"'.

Not much to go on, I'll grant you. But, presumably, it's not Woody.
That narrows it down to seven if you include the B&B man. So, all you
anoraks (that's you, Doc!), put us out of our misery and tell us who it is.
I have my own hunch, but I'm staying schtum for the moment.

Stay Mad 8-)
