This is just so difficult to agree on. Everyone out there has their own
opinion, and the old vs new arguments are appearing!
As we have a difference of opinion between two of our mods, I say once and
for all (in my position of surveymeister!) the TMML vote in the Virgin Radio
top will be for It Must Be Love!
IMBL is an all time classic, Lovestruck has made a huge impression on
Madness fans (and a few non Madness fans), but at the end of the day, even
if none of us on this list voted, It Must Be Love WOULD finish higher in
Virgin's Top 500. In fact I would go as far to say Lovestruck wouldn't even
make the chart.
Let's all get together and push a Madness track that would have made the Top
500 anyway to a higher position. I really don't think that there are enough
of us prepared to vote to make that much of a difference, but it's worth a
try.
It Must Be Love is the song to vote for; No 50:50, No Phone a Friend, That
is my final Answer!
