Well a point which needs to be raised here is that, imho, Britney's song was
a GOOD #1... now De Burgh! hahahaha that's another story and, along wiv 'I
Just Called To Say I Love You' (IF that was a #1!), that pidgeon-Italian
'Shaddap Your Face' thing and 'Save Your Love' by Renee and Renato, HAS to
be the WORST ever! Now someone was saying that The Specials were in, and so
was Uncle Ian... but they showed up way behind our lads! Considering that
The Specials, Ian, The Beat, The Selecter AND Bad Manners were ALL
considered to have more potential for longevity than Madness (well, ok, some
of them (Bad Manners in particular) are still around in some form or other),
it's great that our boys finished higher up than most of their peers! On a
final note that has to do wiv charts too... is it just me or didn't The
Legendary One (aka The Langmead) say that he was going to start announcing
