Hi,

Tears Of A Clown was originally recorded by someone called Smokey
Robinson...but it wasn't a Ska song until The Beat covered it, as many Ska
bands since have done.

The only other song I can help you with there is The Roadette Song...this
was originally by Kilburn and The High Roads (Ian Dury's band before The
Blockheads) and I think was about a gang of groupies who came to every gig
they did and they dubbed them "The Roadettes".

Hope this is of help you you!

Cheers,

Gaz.

Subject: [total-madness] Unknowkn song

In a Madness discography I've found a list of songs that I've never heard.

Here's the list:

-Patience
-Rich Girls
-Roadette Song
-Sunshine Voice
-Tears Of A Clown

Can you supply me with some more information about these songs?

Thanks

Paolo Cosetti
