Hi everyone!
Just a short update on the events that will
{hopefully!} be happening on the Madness Weekender!
Time is creeping up on us, so it's full steam ahead
with plans and preparations!
Unfortunately, Crunch! will not be playing on either
day, due to other commitments.
So, instead, we have other ideas up our sleeves that
we are still playing around with. We would however
like your input, as it will be YOUR weekend!
Suggestions so far go:
Madness Karaoke
Videos of Madness and related bands
Madness Bingo {Chris Mountain is responsible for this
little baby!}
Tribute band{s} {Not sure who is available yet, will
keep you posted}
Madness/Ska/Two Tone/80's Disco
Auction - Donations to go to CancerBacUp
If you have ANYTHING that you would like to donate for
auction, please let either Chris or I know asap as we
would like to make a list for everyone on the list to
see, including those who are unable to make the actual
event. We did it as a team last year, so please dig
deep!!
There is also talk of a fancy dress competition! It's
been suggested that you could either dress up as a
member of Madness, as a character from one of their
videos, an 80's theme, or anything really! It's not
compulsory either, just a bit of fun! Whoever dresses
up at Mike Barson though, watch out for me! Hehe!
Only joking! ;o)
Well that's about it for the time being. If you
haven't reserved your place yet, please hurry as
places are going quicker than you can shout "Mike
Barson is a sex god!!" Miss it, miss out!
