Hi there fellow nutsters, seeing as I was present at the Crunch! gig on Friday night, I would just like to add my thoughts on what has been said. Simesy: I did notice that you were reading your paper and also Gray said hello to you about 4 times before you actually grunted hello at him. I'm not trying to be fractious because you did come and say hello to me and we had a chat but there is no need to give everyone else on the list a blinkered view, when they were not there. The gig was totally brilliant- Thommo buying the people he cares about a bottle of �26 champagne, and choosing who he wanted to have it, Spider on top form, the whole band taking the piss when 'Daydreamers' went horribly wobbly, Tad and the others being so ace and chatting to us for ages etc etc. As for a supposed 'after-gig meet', that is utter rubbish. Chrissy Boy dragged me off to their 'dressing room' (a rather small cloakroom) with Jerney, Emma, Sarah and Sophie in hot pursuit. We then had our photos taken with them all and chatted for ages. We then went dancing with Thommo and Spider until we got kicked out at 2.30am. We then walked with Thommo for a while until we found his lift. Most of the list had by this time left, and I apologise to anyone that I didn't say goodbye to, but when Chris Foreman has got you, you don't say no!! ;o) I dearly love all my friends on the list- since 1998 I have met so many cool people that are so mad. And like Sophie said, we don't just see each other at 'official' meets- there are loads of excuses now for us to be friends. Madness may have bought us all together but we are all friends now in our own right. And that is worth it's weight in gold. For new people that have joined the list- we don't bite and we're all really easy going. Like it says in Crunch!s 'Tap Dance': Be bold, don't be afraid. I'm just hoping that this doesn't affect any future gigs or meets...because the rest of the list doesn't deserve it. Nutty Regards to all my friends, and respect to those I don't yet know.
