I always thought that The Living End sounded very ska
- plus they do the whole pork pie hat thing - is that
rockabilly?! I thought rockabilly's wore quiffs in
their hair and tight jeans and white t-shirts and hung
out in gangs with leather jackets that have the names
of their gangs emblazoned on the back like Aces &
Eights... and drive vintage 50's cars... well that's
what they do here in Perth - can't say I have ever
seen a rockabilly in black & white checks - perhaps
the red & black flannel type check... I will accept
correction on this point - perhaps I am completely
mistaken.
On another note perhaps the Living End are some weirdo
ska/rockabilly fusion experiment gone wrong?! They
sound good anyway!!!
Didn't mean to offend anyone! (sorry haven't heard of
the porkers - but have definitely heard other ska
bands played on Triple J can't remember names - doh!)
