In response to the e-mail about age-ism sent by Alan, Radio! have
just been so hypocritical - They say they don't want anyone old on
their station, and yet they are perfectly happy to play Tom Jones -
someone else who has had their career, and then made a come
back. Some of his songs are not too bad, and Madness' are even
better. This is one reason why I hate today's music industry.
There will come a time in the future where there will be a lot of
people who cannot get a job in life, because they left school early
to pursue a music career that was short lived. It's all young
"bands" (perhaps i should say groups - bands play instruments and
write their own songs) made up of school kids aimed at school
kids. I will stop there before I explode with rage.
