Hellooooooo everyone Just thought I'd stick my oar in about Radio One. I'm sure you have all known for a long time what a load of bull their "playlist rules" are. They just pander to their teenybopper audience by promoting and playing such s*** as a1, Backstreet Boys, Steps etc etc and now of course, their new flavour of the month, the dreadful hear say (what's this obsession with lower case, anyway???). Well, when it comes down to it, as much as Radio One is a national institution and no doubt the majority have grown up listening to it, I say, Leave 'em to it and listen to Virgin 1215 which plays Madness all the time, as well as the Specials, Selector, Elvis Costello, Dear Old Ian Drury and all our other musical chums and influences. Deterioration is a terrible thing, so don't listen to it live on air. That's my oar well and truly stuck in. Eeeeeee, I feel better for that! And no, I don't work for Virgin!!
