Hiya all, Just returned home from what I thought was another monotonous day at work, after traveling 200miles to see the launch of a new large format printer from Epson (bear with me, it gets better). A guest speaker was a guy called Peter Smith who works for a company called Rockoptic, this is a company who design and print music art. He brought along 2 examples of their work, one a cover for Pink Floyd and another the final proof of the Ian Dury tribute album 'Brand New Boots And Panties'. This was the final artwork before the design was passed and it included alternative colours for the design. It was framed and was about 2" by 3". Also were pictures of the final album cover including the signed Polaroid pictures which was auctioned off, He also mentioned the obvious involvement of Madness a good few times. Also in the Epson head office was a large blown up picture of the Madness Ghost Train cover, and apparently it was hung in an art gallery for 12months as an example of 80's pop icons along with others. Unfortunately they wouldn't let me have or even buy any of the prints. What a great day at work (I don't say that often) Take it easy, Mart. http://members.nbci.com/its_madness ______________________________________________________________ Visit the Total Madness Mailing List website for: news, members section, madmeet info, list charter, competitions, & more... http://www.madness7.com Contact the TMML Moderators at: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, send an e-mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and in the message body put: unsubscribe total-madness
