Hi all - I'm a pretty avid collector of Madness stuff and have gone over the deep end with a lot of things (no sane person owns 8 copies of the same album only because each cover is a little different) but I draw the line at bootlegs. It seems to me, bootlegs aren't original by definition. It's an illicit copy, and usually the bootlegger is just running off CR-R's. Therefore whether the bootlegger copies it and I get a copy or Mike H copies it and I get a copy, it is still a copy. Now I realize that we all have diferent ways of looking at it, and if Yannick is happy with his purchase, wonderful. I can say at least he bought an already exhisting copy and didn't buy it from the profesional bootlegger.
