Hello One and All!! I know I'm past it for e-mails about Blackpool but only today has my computer been cured of a particularly nasty virus that has driven me and especially my Mum up the (insert swear word here) wall. I would like to say a big northern BLOODY HELL what a good time I had. The excitement had been building all day, to the point where I was thrown out of a very important meeting at work for ignoring the Power Point Presentation on blah blah blah for grinning like an idiot out of the window. Our Kid made an emergency dash from Bradford in order to catch the 4.40 train (Dad reaching speeds of 80mph at some point but I'll turn a blind eye as it was a special occassion) and we started on the alchopops (warming up) before we'd left Huddersfield. Basically, that's all I can remember..........there are flashes like "BLOOOOODY HELL doesn't he look like BUBBLE???!!!", and "Help I've lost my shoe whilst dancing to Badness....never mind, I'll have another drink" and trying (in vain) to save some fish type thing on Blackpool beach at about 3.30am after dancing on it by accident. To cut a very long story short, HELLO to everyone who I slurred rubbish at, especially Journey, who I remember hugging but I don't know the reason, and THANK YOU to Mountain Boy and Cheryl. You are fantastic and will definately go to heaven. And even though my sister looked as miserable as sin for 48 hours she honestly had a fantastic time and is mumbling things about massive group discounts if we all fancy going to Tenerife or something for a future Madmeet...she's very big in JMC y'know...as she probably told you.
