Hey you, recently I saw One Step Beyond and Absolutely in virgin for �6 each and thought I would buy them. The reason being that I did'nt have the originals on vinyl, being a relatively recent fan, and the cd copies I do have do not have the complete original artwork. Anyway I was really pleased to get the chance to have the original artwork, but then virgin dissapointed.
This was because, as has been mentioned before with the Total Madness video, virgin rather uninventively reissued the same product with a different cover. With the Total Madness video it was said to be Divine Madness with a different cover, yet this time the enhanced cd's were the exact copy of those given with "The Lot" spinning Doctor Martin and all. Apologies if this has been mentioned before (I don't think it has) or if this is not of interest but I found this another virgin disappointment.
This dissapointment can only be magnified when you compare to other recent/forthcoming reissues of other bands that contain 6/7 extra tracks dug up from the dark and distant past.
