Evenin' all, this little tale is in this week's Punch magazine: SUGGS IS NO WALKOVER It's a tough life being a celebrity, as Suggs, the former lead singer of Madness, can testify. The old rocker, who now earns a crust as a guest on various TV shows, was accosted by a passer-by as he enjoyed a quiet read of the Evening Standard. 'Oi, are you Suggs?' yelled the mystery man. 'I am,' confirmed Suggs gracefully. Delighted at his discovery, the man pulled a dog-eared piece of paper from his jacket pocket and asked the pop prince: 'Will you sponsor me? I'm doing the London Marathon.' When Suggs declined, he was subjected to a stream of colourful language from the punter which would have made the Sex Pistols blush.
