Morning punters! Things are quiet on the TMML just now, probably down to lack of Madness activity and increased competition in the web-discussion-list market, but such is the society we live in today!
Perhaps many of us have just come to a realisation that perhaps Madness is not all it is cracked up to be. Or that growing old means responsibility, awareness for those around us and above all, maturity. If any of these words are ringing any bells then do not flee into the sunset without stopping and taking stock. I have been through a couple of "sick of Madness" phases myself, usually after lengthy playing of their albums or one to many meetings with anoraks of a nutty disposition. Perhaps then it is time for a refreshing new look at the band. Well not so much the band but the people who follow them. Madness is not so much an obsession, but a cult for most of it's followers and it is these people, who range through all walks of life, that makes Madness special. The band acknowledge this themselves the fact that without us, there would be no Madness. With this in mind I am proud to announce the re-launch of The Magnificent 7. A website dedicated, of course, to Madness, but more towards their fans. This site was first inaugerated in January 2000 and has developed a small but loyal fan base, recieving over 7500 hits in just under 2 years. It has now been relocated and given a major new re-design. Not only this, but the original advertised date was 2nd January 2002, so this relaunch has come about a full 3 weeks ahead of schedule. I don't like to decieve the Madness community, and when I say "coming soon" I mean it. I am not one to keep pushing back launch dates. But I digress. This site is unique in that it is not so much a look at the band from a fanatics point of view, but more of an analysis of what it is actually like to be inflicted with the uncontrollabel desire to see/play/listen/talk Madness. This site is a fans view, and not only that, but I am Scottish. Please feel free to visit my site, unburden your nutty frustrations, your insane obsession or just to refresh yourself as you sip from the nutty cup that contains Madness. Above all, stick with it. Madness will not be around forever. Just being a memory may not be that far away. Long Live The Magnificent 7 - www.themagnificent7.co.uk Regards, Mr.G ______________________________________________________________ Visit the Total Madness Mailing List website for: news, members section, madmeet info, list charter, competitions, & more... http://www.madness7.com Contact the TMML Moderators at: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, send an e-mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and in the message body put: unsubscribe total-madness
