I've found some more sources for this book (which apparently includes
some graffiti done by Mike Barson). I hope this helps...

> Perry, Roger The Writing on the Wall
> Elm Tree. 1976. 1st edition p/b . 4to. 112pp inc. 110 b&w photos. Thought
> provoking intro by George Melly. Sub titled :The Graffiti of London, this
> book does not show the slick, backward slanting 'arabic' style of modern
> graffiti but a less self conscious variety, more about message and angst
> than the egoistic signatures now found in dangerous places. Well
> photographed with an eye for background and place. Publishers typed label
> affixed inside front cover. Contents, Nr Fine in tanned, slightly soft
> edged cover .

It looks to be somewhat scarce... if these sources fail I can try some
others. I do work in a library, you know. ;)
