Ah, I see Wee Stoo already pointed out the FA Cup prog!  I should have read on before posting, still you didn't mention the odd edit Stoo!

Well Alan, Madness news here for you.....not that exciting though!

Heard any Madness songs out there in TV/film land recently?
I've come across a couple......Baggy Trousers is featured in the new Vinnie Jones film 'Mean Machine', kind of nice to see it on the end credits as well!
Oh and on BBC1 on Friday night there was a show called 'Walking with Giant Killers' about the FA Cup, presented by Danny Baker and Danny Kelly.  The end credits for this were underscored with the end of Embarrassment, and rather bizarrely the tune was edited to remove the end "you're an embarrassment", it sounded most odd!

Anyone else heard the above or got any others from recent times?

Hi all, it's been a while since I've been near my the internet myself, but I could'nt help noticing that things have been very quiet of late. I would have thought that there would be more activity what with the talk of a musical, new album, and Madstock all this year. Maybe it's partly due to the different discussion sites that have recently sprung up, maybe not.

Anyway assuming a Madstock/tour (hopefully including Ireland this time) is to happen then why don't we put forward some suggestions for a live song that would not normally be performed these days?  UB40 amongst others have started doing this through their fans choices.

Mine, although not definite, would have to include:

(Waiting for the) ghost train
I was the one
Listen to your father
and of course a live version of In the city would be interesting.  I would also assume that Lovestruck and Johny the Horse are now embedded in the setlist.

What do you reckon?

All the Best,
                  Alan.

P.S. Anyone else noticed that Madstock the c.d. no longer seems to be available, if not why not - it's a classic and still in demand as a friend I know had been after a copy.
