On The Beat Pete has made a return!
Some of you may remember me, and others may not. I have finally returned to the list after an absence of approximately 9 months - no that time does not tie in with anything else that takes nine months to happen! A brief update on what has been happening since I left the list. Well, I left as I was leaving university, and I returned home from Leeds to London. I started a teaching course, although that didn't work out, and then at the end of Januray I started a job in Bath, and I moved to Bristol at the end of February. The most unfortunate thing to happen in that time was for me flat to be burgled less than two weeks after moving in, when all my Madness CD's were nicked. I had all their studio albums and The Business, as well as bopth of Sugg's albums. The most galling thing is that I have lost Universal MAdness, A CD containing a radio 2 interview with the band prior to the release of Wonderful, all three of their latest singles - bot! h discs of each - as well as The Nutty Boys first album (I am not sure whether they have done any more in my absence) and Suggs' singles I am, Cecilia and Blue Day, which it took me ages to track down in the first place. If anyone knows where I can get replacement Suggs singles, Universal Madness and The Nutty Boys from for a reasonable price, then please let me know.
