Hey You!!! don't read that - read this!!!!! As per Juliet and Clives comments about Butlins, please see below my review of what was a fantastic and truly nutty weekend. i have tried to keep it short and to the point so here it goes I met Swanny on the train started drinking quite early, (as you do) we checked in had a walk around and then went straight to the pub We didn't find the Madness fruit machine but there was a machine called LUXOR which is a pyrmaid aming game, well this game had the intro of night boat to cairo, you could hear it all around the pavilion. so if anyone spotts it let us know On Friday night we met up together, mountain boy & co, cheryl & co Juliet and Clive Bulmer. We saw a band called Skaville wo played an entire history of ska, follwed by a ska dj which they did on saturday and sunday, playing a wide range of the history of ska,rocksteady and of course our boys madness this was were eveyone showed off there dancing/movement skills which was very impressive. At this stage the drinks were flowing nicely, and of couse in true style we invaded the stage which followed by a lot of people, the security got us off but we went back for more (1-0 to us) . This was like this every night especially when bad manners and more specials were on. On sat there was complete madness in one venue and bad manners in another (sods law that they clashed at the same time) , i have never seen bad manners so i opted to see them which they were fantastic dancing on stage with bad manners was the bees kness, the weekend then got better and better when on sunday there was the real selecter, then the jammm (tribute) and more specials (tribute) as the final band all in one venue. as the seleceter started early there wasn't much of a crowd but more people came on towards the end, but when the jamm came on it was turn for the mods to skank at this time the whole place was buzzing. The dancefloor was so packed that the floor was actually moving, Then came the more specials came on which wrapped up the whole weekend. Yes there was another stage invasions, though in true specials form was supbeb Once the specials came of stage, yes youve guessed skanking until 2am this was the final piece of a weekend and a half. All of us got together and started skanking non stop, especailly when lovestruck came on, this was hilarous, if i remember it was me, swanny, clive and juliet that in true madness form was dancing around a pillar pretending to be a lampost (the looks from other people was slighly confusing as they wanted to know what the hell we was doing) Anway enough of me as i need to recover, I do apologise if i have gone on a bit, but you have to be there to soak up the atomsphere.
