Hello everyone, Thought you might be interested in this little snippet from yesterday's Daily Mail newspaper:
A welcome touch of Madness One step beyond! Get ready to party at Our House - The Musical. This show features the music of Madness but it's not their story, although it will reflect the sensibility of Suggs and his fellow band members. The musical comedy, directed by Matthew Warchus, opens at the Cambridge Theatre, London, in the autumn. It follows the adventures and romances of a north London lad and his girlfriend. Producer Rupert Lord says: 'The guy commits a minor crime and has to make a choice that will affect the rest of his life'. Our House will be packed with the group's hits, including My Girl and It Must Be Love, plus two new numbers written by the Madness boys. Madness burst on to the music scene more than 20 years ago with what became known as the 'nutty sound', a mixture of influences from ska, Tamla Motown and the wrong end of Kentish Town.
