regarding Ian Dury..
Dury remembered with jukebox bench
7:32pm Sunday, 28th April 2002 A solar-powered musical bench which will play a selection of Ian Dury hits is to be switched on in Richmond Park. The bench is to be placed in the Poets' Corner of
Pembroke Lodge within the London park which was one of Dury's favourite
spots.
Visitors to the bench will be able to plug in a set
of headphones and hear eight of Dury's songs, as well as an
interview.
His family donated the bench, which is being
sponsored by Warner Chappell Music.
