Well hello people,
I would have thought some of the other ladies and gents who were at the
video shoot would have posted by now, as the drinks weren't flowing that
much!

My story starts on a National Express coach, surrounded by crying weans and
a loud drunken woman and a drunken and badly behaved man. 8 and a half hours
later I find myself at an empty Leadenhall Market. A quick trip for a
much-needed cup of tea later, and I bump into Graham + Chris Hewson with
Caz. Soon, the place starts to fill up. Many known faces, many more unknown.
Some of the better known ones included the unforgettable Joe and Deanna,
Nigel and Sarah, plus Cheryl, Chris Mountain, Rich Groves and there were a
few others I wasn't introduced to.

The filming itself was great fun, and I indeed wore an England top. (Cheers
Adele!) Mountain boy seemed aghast. "Traitor!" Was all he could say, while
shaking his head. At one point we were able to join in and sing along, and I
got stuck right in! I'd went all the way down there for the fun, so why not
get into the spirit of things! The song is great, and I soon found myself
belting out the lyrics with the best of them. I also managed to have a quick
flag fight with Sophie. Well hers was bigger than mine! Sorry girl!

I also spotted Emma and Chris Carter-Pegg, always nice to see the pair of
them! Another familiar face was that of Chas Smash, dressed superbly as
usual. You'll see what I mean in the video!

I also managed to introduce myself to Stuart Wright. I'd heard plenty about
him from Swanny and others and found him to be a real diamond geezer.
Quickly christened 'The Two Stu-gees' by Rich Groves (I think), we marched
along behind the England Supporters Band, wondering what the guy with the
megaphone had been trying to tell us. "Talk into it, mate, not away from
it!"

A taxi scene was filmed, and here an unfortunate soul managed to trip and
fall. I think it was jonsmad of MIS online fame, but I might be wrong.
Anyway, certainly one for It'll Be Alright On The Night. Hope the leg is
feeling better dude, it looked a sore one!

Then in Camden, we were treated to the most awful/wonderful sight ever
imagined. Nigel and Joe in tight, ancient garish shellsuits - obviously
borrowed from Mr.G - with curly black wigs and fake moustaches. The two big
lads had been transformed into The Scousers! I Don't know the name of the
other guy who made up the three scousers...but maybe someone could enlighten
me!

On the bus, there then was a carry-on style 'needing the toilet' episode.
Mark Adamson (i think) offered us his empty beer bottle (After he'd managed
to extract the finger which kept getting stuck in it..!!) but the end result
was three grown men jumping from the bus, running through traffic in a
desperate mission to the public toilet we'd spotted moments before. Thats a
lesson for those youngsters out there. Always visit the toilet before
leaving the pub. To anyone interested, we did manage to relieve ourselves,
Stu had an alternative facility, while Matt Cogger and myself found other
toilets, thanks to a joint effort of my running and searching, and Matt's
wellspoken english accent helping in getting directions. ("Youre accent isnt
that bad" He told me.)

After returning to the pub for a while, people started making their way
home. It was a great day, and everyone seemed to have enjoyed the event.

The story ended for me on a National Express coach seat, with a young mum
next to me with her 4yr ol daughter. The daughter asked me "Are you the
Prince?", in all seriousness, while pointing at the little crown above the
'M' on my Madness fleece.

So, Thanks to Mr.Smash for making the event happen, thanks to Adele for
rounding the folk up, and all the TMML'ers I've mentioned who made the day
even more enjoyable. And to those I havent mentioned through lack of
memory!!

Thats yer lot,
WeeStoo fae Glasgow!
