Hello,

I tried to sent this email on Saturday but it didn't seem
to work. I know the arena quite well since I work there as
an event steward {bouncer!} so I thought I would provide
some info about the arena especially for people who want to
book seats & also hopefully answer Andrew's questions. To
make things easier If you follow this link below & then
click on seating chart, you should get a seating plan of
the arena, I hope!.
http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/cgi/asp_events/byid.asp?event_id=180034A7DBD0D55B&category=Music

Basically the end marked North is the stage, Door 1 & 12
are outside. So anyone wanting a seat with a good view of
the stage should be near Door 2 & 11 & then Door 3 & 10. If
you have a seat near Door 5,6,7,8 the band will look like
midgets. If you are booking through Ticketmaster it is
East/West lower tier you want depending whether you want to
be nearer Suggs or Carl but your seat is not guaranteed to
be at the front. You don't want the south tier or the low
rise.

If you phone London Arena box office to book your tickets
{020 7538 1212} and speak to an operator you can ask for
specific seats {For example a seat near Door 2} I checked!!

If you are booking a seat get a seat in the lower tier
{East /West} which is anything before & including row T,
because the upper tier seats look like they should have
been thrown out along time ago. They are like the wooden
seats you used to get at football grounds & it amazes me
they are still there. Another reason for getting the lower
tier is it often gets really hot in what we call the gods &
the fresh air soon goes & we have had people suffer as a
result.

12 year olds should be allowed in especially if she will be
accompanied by you and your wife, London Arena often holds
events such as Pop Idol and Smash Hits with average age of
audience 9/10 years old.

One last thing for the moment which should please everyone
you can drink alcohol in the main arena and you can also
take food/drink in as long as it isn't in a bottle/can.

I hope this information will prove useful
See you soon
Fiona Linnell
