If you look at any group, whether a company, a nation or a world religion, you can see basically two distinct mentalities operating: A. individualists; B. collectivists. The collectivist mentality is gung-ho for the group. They believe there is strength in numbers, one for all ... ask not what your country can do for you, ask what YOU can do for your country. Cooperation, sacrifice, group-effort and unity are their mantras. The individualist mentality is gung-ho for the individual. They believe the individual is supreme. The group is an emergent property of individuals, the individual being the basic building block. Competition, ability, autonomy and freedom are their mantras. Given these two approaches to surviving on a wilderness Sub-Class World, which is better? Are either? Many feel a combination of A and B are the way to go, but that's cop-out for people that don't want to think. Others are convinced its A or B. I think it's A. Some reasons: Republicans tend to be for A whereas Democrats are for B. On their way up, the wealthy tend to be Republicans. At the top they tend to be Democrats (so they can placate the masses for all their wealth). The poor and newly-rich tend to be Democrats, then they often shift to Republicans quietly or call themselves neo-conservatives or neo-cons. The mentality that leads to a greater freedom, hence Class II and II Civilization will be through A, individualism, not B, collectivism. Thus I take issue with the late JFK when he stated: "Ask not what your country can do for you ask what you can do for your country." The correct statement would have been, "Ask not what you can do for your country, ask how you can become better and thus a better country will emerge from better individuals." But alas, the Kennedy mentality is the Democrat mentality, hence the collectivist, or "socialist" mentality. One has to look at end-products to determine which way to go. If everyone were to sacrifice themselves for the group, all individuality would be gone. The STAR TREK series has it right when they depict the Borg as the ultimate collective. Ironically, I guess you could say each one of us is already a Borg, as our bodies have collected and assimilated countless cellular organisms into our human form, each of "our" cells under the command of its resident DNA molecule. But if a human were but a collective of cells, as biologists suggest, would we not have figured out how our brains and system work by now? The possibility that we are more than our cells, and the emergent property OF our cells -- consciousness and intelligence -- suggests the following laws: 1. If you attempt to build a better collective, you end up with individual disasters; 2. If you attempt to build a better individual, you end up with a better collective. Translated, individual disasters could be said to be what we call "criminals" or the "incompetent" or the "insane" or "failures" or "druggies". All of these human results came because the resources of society were focused on the "greater good of society" rather than the "greater good of the individual" and IT WAS ACTUALLY SOCIETY THAT FAILED, NOT THE INDIVIDUALS. But society ALWAYS blames it on the INDIVIDUALS citing the tired justification: "Well millions of other kids went to public schools and none of THEM pulled out guns and killed everyone." Such, fail to recognize that: "Well millions of people watch car advertisements, but only a few buy." Or how about this one, a favorite of govs and religions: Everyone has FREE WILL, thus they can do good or evil. Were govs and religions to admit that actions are NOT necessarily a product of FREE WILL, but a manifestation of ENVIRONMENT and/or DNA, their "services" would evolve to obsolescence. So a society that operates for the "greater good" SOUNDS altruistic, but this is a society that inevitably BLAMES, PUNISHES, WASTES, DESTROYS, FALSIFIES, OBFUSCATES, SUPPRESSES TECHNOLOGY and most of all, SACRIFICES INDIVIDUALS. In my half century on this crappy little mud ball floating in the "middle" of lethal black space, I have never ONCE seen a GROUP -- a company, government or even a church -- stand up for an INDIVIDUAL member of that group. When the group collective deems that an "individual" member of the group has done something that could be considered a "liability" to the group, they MUST be removed and/or PUNISHED (with removal). NEVER DOES THE COLLECTIVE SUPPORT THE INDIVIDUAL, IT ONLY GIVES THE ILLUSION OF SUPPORT. 9-11 is a perfect example. Trillions allocated into the "national defense" and "national security" over the decades yet a bunch of Arabs with box cutters, on a $400,000 budget, fly a jet into the citadel of world military power and prowess, THE PENTAGON. Please! I repeat: NEVER DOES THE COLLECTIVE SUPPORT THE INDIVIDUAL, IT ONLY GIVES THE ILLUSION OF SUPPORT. All groups endlessly talk about "all for one and one for all" -- yet this is a bald-faced lie. And here's why. One of the PRIMARY reasons a group or collective forms is self-protection, thus, by definition it has in place sophisticated mechanisms for protecting ITSELF at any cost. THIS requires the mechanism of obfuscating COMMAND LINES and DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES, in short, RESPONSIBILITY. This is the basic reason WHY people form and support collectives such as form corporations and governments: to limit liability. Operate behind the "corporate veil." In other words: obfuscate and/or avoid knowledge of responsibility. Corporations thus have secret meetings whereby "directors" get to vote behind closed doors what "the corporation" will do. By LAW, laws made by other collectivists, the minutes of ALL corporations (artificial entities created by the state) are confidential, unless, in some cases it's a public corporation or a non-profit. So, when an INDIVIDUAL in the COLLECTIVE does something that "could be considered a "liability" to the group dynamic, the group has a perfect methodology for "remedying" the liability: the board just votes to fire (sacrifice) the individual; no one has to know WHO voted HOW and the PR is always: "He was fired for the good of the company because HE was a bad apple." Never mind that the corporation, the group, hired and TRAINED that individual, influenced him, forced him to "live" and operate in their "corporate culture" and enticed the individual to join up on promises of protection and support. All that's sacrificed always in the name of the "greater good." AGAIN: I state, in my 50 years on this world I have NEVER seen a GROUP stand up for an INDIVIDUAL. The ONLY times you THINK you have seen a GROUP stand up for an INDIVIDUAL is when the GROUP "stood up" for PR reasons, meaning, had they not stood up, it would have made them look BAD, it would have hurt their PR, their PUBLIC RELATIONS. No where is all this more prevalent than in the motion picture business where one is dealing with lots of money, public relations and high-profile celebrities. The government, were I do NOT work, however is probably AS bad. So, when any COLLECTIVE entices you to join. Don't. When someone, or some entity, offers to help YOU individually and then asks for NOTHING in return, join. There is but one entity in existence that the Universe designed as neither a COLLECTIVE nor an INDIVIDUAL, and that's the PARTNERSHIP between a man and a woman. When a man joins with a woman and a woman joins with a man in a marriage -- solely for love and the PURPOSE of creating kids -- neither are JOINING a COLLECTIVE: they are CREATING a collective. When they have children, they are adding to their collective organically, the children being an extension and biological continuation of their DNA. It is thus this collective, the family unit, that has SOLE validity. All other collectives are ARTIFICIAL ENTITIES -- and AI will fall into this exact category with respect to humans, BUT NOT ITS OWN "FAMILIES". Take note. Thus the biological family takes validity over the business; over the state; over the church. The business, the state and the church will, of course, howl over this disparaging distinction because they need individuals to FEED upon. This is why you see so little population control on this world. But remember, what YOU build as one individual with another individual, a family, is the ONLY valid collective: to hell with the business, to hell with the state and to hell with the church, when push comes to shove. Again, none of these entities will EVER sacrifice their assets or status for YOU. ONLY your family will do this, and this is the sole reason all other groups and collectives are hell-bent on destroying the Family Unit: the competition is potentially too intense. If people can turn to their families, they have no need for the state, the church or even the business. Herbert understood this. Read DUNE. Of course, families that understand what I am saying here, have been ignoring other collectives for centuries. It is these families that are NOW governing our world, (as they did in DUNE) and who have set up a system to dream on that YOU, as an individual, will never get information OR ability to challenge them. It is these groups that now call for massive collectivism to support THEMSELVES in the guise of supporting YOU. The very words: "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" were uttered from the VERY lips of a member of the massive KENNEDY FAMILY. You think the KENNEDY'S or the ROCKEFELLERS or the ROTHSCHILD'S or the BUSH'S disagree agree with what I have said above. Don't be foolish. BUT, they would, of course, never admit to agreeing with what I have stated. So, it's all nice to have a business and a nation, and I'm not saying one should quit the job or commit the treason, as these groups are necessary evils at this time because the entire system you and I are stuck in gives us only long-term ways out. What I am saying is: don't be under delusion. The group WILL sacrifice YOU even while it's promising to HELP, PROTECT, TRAIN, NOURISH and LOOK OUT for you. Play the game carefully. Follow the rules, as collectives LOVE rules but they love to punish. Big rules and punishments make up for their small abilities to understand systems. After all, a "large" law firm is always comprised of hundreds of vanilla attorneys, whereas a "small" boutique firm is composed of a handful of talented partners. Be a team player. BUT while you are doing all this, make backup plans to become more able. Study the systems of the world. Figure out how they work. Study the collectives' mechanisms for enslavement until you know them better than their Borg members. Always know how to delete that essential line of code (if ever needed, for the greater good :). Then network with other INDIVIDUALS and share data. Figure out how you can use technology to reduce humanity's dependency on collectives and centralized systems. Figure out how you can remove the administration of ethics and justice from the jurisdiction of legislators, judges and courts and place such under the internal command of the individual. If, after all, there are NO crimes committed, what purpose do legislators, judges and courts have on a planet? INSIST THAT NO LEGISLATOR CAN CREATE A LAW REQUIRING A PUNISHMENT UNLESS THAT LEGISLATOR FIRST TESTS THE PUNISHMENT PERSONALLY HIMSELF IN ORDER TO ASSURE THE CITIZENS THAT SUCH PUNISHMENT IS NOT CRUEL OR UNUSUAL UNDER THE CONSTITUTION. Any punishment that does NOT fit the crime IS cruel and unusual, and there is NO way such punishment can be tested unless the Congressman proposing the law and punishment FIRST tests the punishment he's trying to foist upon the public. As one knows, one of the collective's favorite pastimes is PUNISHING. Punishment is seen by the collective mentality to be "rehabilitating" and protective for society. Again, note, everything is justified "for society." Hitler used the exact same words. So, to the degree the collective, the state, the business or the church wants to PUNISH -- prospective joiners should INSIST that all punishments are PRE-tested by the originators to make certain they fit the crimes defined in secret board meetings of the collective. Remember: there is no such thing as a "crime." A "crime" is a totally defined, and arbitrary, activity. A "crime" in one collective, is a "good deed" in another collective. Country A kills country's Bs soldier. One soldier is a "hero" and the other is an "enemy". So stop listening to and using all the bullshit vernacular collectives use on INDIVIDUALS and stop playing their game. Just as they pretend to be protecting and training you, you should be pretending to be protecting and training for them. Make the INDIVIDUALS in all COLLECTIVES INDIVIDUALLY responsible for any and all "laws" they expect their collective to IMPOSE on other INDIVIDUALS. REFUSE to allow INDIVIDUALS in COLLECTIVES to hide behind: 1. boards; 2. committees; 3. "the management" 4. policies; 5. laws; 6. corporate veils; 7. sovereign rights; 8. divine rights; 9. national security; 10. the common good. 1 - 10 are horseshit mechanisms YOU have been enslaved by. You have been induced to join or submit to collectives on false pretenses. The collective will always do TO YOU what it says it will do to "your" enemies in the name of protecting you. No one made more laws than the late family-member, Teddy Kennedy, each law "for the common good." And look how the gov and media collectives have been worshiping him these past weeks. Remember, the rocket fuel to launch the Kennedy politicians came from Joe Kennedy, the head of the Kennedy "family" who made the "family" money by selling poison to millions of people and then getting them to do what he wanted because the alcohol they had consumed had LITERALLY removed portions of their brains, hence ability to think rationally. You will find that many of the collectives, especially governments, were created by such people, people doing things that they have now made conveniently "illegal" or highly REGULATED. Ever heard that word? The idea the collective mentality operates on is: "get to the top any way possible and then let them sue me until I can make laws to legally murder them." So take your choice. Put your energy into the COLLECTIVE or put it into being a better INDIVIDUAL. If you ignore the collectives around you and concentrate on becoming a better individual, and everyone around you does this, you will see better collectives emerge spontaneously. If you concentrate on self-improvement and observe the Universe and its systems, you will be able to deduce why or why not something should be done. In other words you will understand and internalize ethics, understand the SPIRIT of the LAW rather than the LETTER of the law and having to have some collective above threaten you with punishment unless you OBEY every single LETTER. People that just OBEY the laws of collectives are mindless slaves. People that UNDERSTAND WHAT laws make sense and WHY, are free individuals, because the laws that they understand are always universally axiomatic, never arbitrary to collective expediency. The choice is yours: champion the collective or champion the individual. The former leads to death, the later leads to a Class III Civilization and immortality.
