The petitioner, "Wukala Mahaz Barai Tahafaz Dastoor" [Lawyers Front for Defense of the Constitution], through its counsel Dr. Abdul Basit, pleaded for setting aside the order of the single bench and issuing directions to the [Pakistan] federal government to stop the military operation in FATA and stop American drone attacks [on innocent Pakistani civilians]. The counsel sought directions for the [Pakistan] Government to declare the USA as an enemy of Pakistan and stop helping it by protecting NATO [NORTH ATLANTIC TERRORIST ORGANIZATION] supply-lines through surface transit over the Pakistani territory. The petitioner prayed that the Pakistan Army should be directed to defend the country with all means at their disposal, including its nuclear arsenal.
