Does that finding make this a non-bug or something that would still need reporting upstream?
You can also re-test with Qt 5.3.1 + Ubuntu 14.10 and report back. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/QtTesting for details (=qt5-beta2 PPA). You should now be able to keep eg. Qt Creator and Ubuntu plugin even if the ubuntu-sdk meta-package might need to be removed when upgrading. The packages are only partially "well done", but should be ok for testing purposes. As usual, you can revert back with sudo ppa-purge ppa:canonical- qt5-edgers/qt5-beta2 + sudo apt install ubuntu-sdk. ** Changed in: qtbase-opensource-src (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to qtbase-opensource-src in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1284235 Title: Icon has to be sized explicitly Status in Ubuntu UI Toolkit: Incomplete Status in “qtbase-opensource-src” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: There's no way to maintain aspect ratio of the Icon component, as it requires to be explicitly sized, which means we can't allow for icons to adapt to their natural aspect ratio.
