On starting the computer, the login screen was displayed. I logged in and then shortly after the display appeared to crash (I have two monitors) bys displaying a bizarre black and white pattern. The system did not respond to ctrl- alt-del . Pressing one of the mouse buttons caused the display to revert to a regular Ubuntu background. I rebooted, but had the same problem. I then used the advanced login options to start up using kernel 3.19.0.15 and all appear to work OK. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 15.04 Release: 15.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1475040/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
