mir_demo_server crashes with:
ERROR: Dynamic exception type: std::out_of_range
std::exception::what: map::at
when an Xmir rootless app is closed by its File menu.
This does not happen in mir_demo_server_minimal or mir_proving_server.
It might have something to do with child/parent surface relationships
and the fact that closing an app (like gedit) involves having a menu
open (which to Mir at least is a child of the app window).
