Public bug reported: Currently, in order to forward a contact of mine to another user I need to explicitly copy the phone number from the contacts app and then paste it in the compose text box of a message. This is tedious and not that user friendly.
Proposed solution - User gets an option where he has the ability to perform certain actions like adding a contact. On click of which, the contacts app should open and the user selects a contact which gets added automatically to the compose text box. ** Affects: messaging-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: feature -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to messaging-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1520558 Title: Ability to forward a contact to another Status in messaging-app package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Currently, in order to forward a contact of mine to another user I need to explicitly copy the phone number from the contacts app and then paste it in the compose text box of a message.
