Title: Lightdm login screen flashes black Status in lightdm package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Xubuntu 15.10 lightdm 1.16.4 Expected behaviour: At boot login screen appears and user can input password to reach desktop. What happened instead: Boot login screen, approximately 1 second after appearing, flashes to black and then returns. Input appears to be interrupted often resulting in having to re-input user password.
