I am using kicad 0.201407151813+5005~15~ubuntu14.04.1 from https://launchpad.net/~js-reynaud/+archive/ubuntu/ppa-kicad on Ubuntu 14.04 (i386) with open-source Radeon (mesa r300) drivers on a RV515 card.
