If this still exists, it should probably be for ubuntu-rest-scopes,
since that is probably where the results were coming from (unity-scope-
mediascanner just contains the local media scopes plus aggregators).

Title:
Strong bias to Spanish language online search results

Status in Ubuntu Rest Scopes:
  Invalid
Status in unity-scope-mediascanner package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
In the video scope, many searches find spanish language results.
Searching for, e.g. "Hello", produces quite unexpected results.

Is the smart scopes server's IP address geolocatable to be in a
Spanish-speaking country or something like that? Is the user's locale
getting all the way through to online search?

  I see this MR (https://code.launchpad.net/~marcustomlinson/unity-
  scopes-api/send_locale_with_sss_list/+merge/218914), but I'm not sure
if that's really aimed at addressing this problem completely.
