I finally could get rid of this 'bug': I used 'Settings' / 'accounts' and saw I had three times the Google account defined. I deleted 2 of them and everything was suddenly OK.
So, now this bug is rather a wish: put a link from the 'Options' in the 'contacts' app to the place where you can manage accounts. Otherwise, you have no clue as to where the account(s) are defined. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to address-book-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1499663 Title: Contacts duplication synchronizing the same google account twice Status in address-book-app package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I got a funny bug when by mistake, I add twice the same google account. The synchronization duplicates all my contacts. I added my google account once again, so I got 4 (2 x 2) copies of my contacts.
