Ubuntu 14.04 LTS black screen at login screen
a) I hoped that would normally enter the login screen, without
displaying the black screen.
b) When I boot Ubuntu, instead of appearing at the login screen, the
screen goes black and I can not see anything.
c) I turn on the notebook, select Ubuntu, Ubuntu enters but does not
show the login screen.
