I've just created a new vanilla Xenial VM and installed only the
packages that are delivered by apt-get builddep. All the tests pass with
this, so I'd say there was something mis-configured in the VM I tried
this with previously.
Closing as invalid.

Bug description:
On a fresh xenial install, the qml test fails. I'm running it from the
qml test dir like this:
$ ../../../tools/run-xvfb.sh ./qml_test -import `pwd`/../../plugins
Output is in the attached trace file.
